Through Each Other's Eyes (TEOE) is a non-profit organization that promotes international exchanges of photographers and educational programs in schools. Its mission is, 'We explore the world through photography, promoting understanding and respect for all cultures, and enriching lives, by seeing more clearly "through each other's eyes."' Like many small non-profit organizations, TEOE had more ideas and desires than resources. TEOE asked The Mary Orton Company to help the group more closely match their activities to available resources. Mary helped the members of TEOE develop goals and objectives for their organization. She also helped them to put their goals in sequence order by developing a consensus on which activities would take precedence over others. After two meetings, the group had a better understanding of what it wanted to be, where it wanted to go, and how it could get there. |
